Here is a listing of some of the events going on across our region: (ACW=American Civil War; AWI=Revolutionary War; 1812= War of 1812; PNR= Pioneer Era).

October

Oct. 10-11: (ACW), Battle of Perryville. Perryville, KY. Recreation of the Battle of Perryville, the major battle of the Civil War fough on Kentucky soil. (606) 332-8631,

Oct. 17-18: (1812), Battle of Mississinewa. Marion, IN. This is the largest War of 1812 re-enactment in the country I went a couple of years ago with Craig Charron and Matt Davidson and was impressed. (800) 822-1812.

Oct. 17-18: (ACW), Living History Re-enactment, North College Hill, OH. 6th annual Civil War encampment. (513) 521 - 7413

November

Nov. 7-8: Veterans Day Living Histocy Weekend, Cincinnati Museum Center, Union Terminal, Cincinnati, OH. Costumed interpreters from 1793 to World War II.
