The Annual Membership Meeting of HMGS-Great Lakes was held at the Whetstone Library in Columbus on June 8th. The turnout was a little slimmer than hoped for, but there were far fewer complaints than last year. I hope that is a sign of a successful year.

The Board of Directors met for the seventh time this year after the membership meeting. The activities of HMGS-national, and the status of Advance the Colors '96 were the primary topics addressed at the BOD meeting. HMGS- National will meet at Historicon this July for the national meeting. The national HOD has had a couple changes, the most noteworthy is Bill Gray stepping in as National director until Historicon.

HMGS-Mid-South may be losing Florida from its region as a new chapter appears to be forming. More on that next issue as that situation develops.

Advance the Colors '96 is rolling along smoothly. Dealer and GM inquiries have been outstanding.
