I am still waiting for those of you who wish to send me articles. I can only keep up the flow of words so long then I'm all out. Please help me, let me know what you are doing in the colonial period so I can pass it on. I must apologize for a remark about Savage and Soldier. Andy Preziosi assures me that he will be mailing issues by June. The assortment of stuff received here has yet to reach staggering proportions. However, there are things that I have not the expertise, time, or help to playtest, read, or paint. I must have some help, therefore, I call upon the readership to send me a letter briefly detailing their interests, gaming club interests and troops available for playtesting rules, and rules your group plays with. I need a volunteer but preferably a club or group to playtest Principles of War by Tom Penn and another rules set with cavalry and Indians for Pony Soldiers by Glen Allison. I bit of great news from abroad. The editor of the Victorian Military Society's Newsletter has asked permission to reprint Nelson and Lizorty's article "Colonial Period Movies" in several issues of their Soldiers Small Book. Way to go Chris and Ron. Unfortunately, their hard work makes it easy for the rest of us to add more movies to the list. I have already received two letters with several more movies and will have a follow-up list in the next issue with those few missed the first time, so if you know of some obscure movies send me a note about them. Continuing with good news Howard's Apache rules variant for Science vs Pluck has received good reviews from our readers. Bob Giglio has informed me that sometime in the future Frank Chadwick will be re-issuing Soldier's Companion rules book from Space 1889 with modifcations from Bob and Keith Frye. Hopefully, Bob will be sending us an article soon. CHECK THE FRONT COVER, IF THE NUMBER AFTER YOUR NAME IS 93 AND/OR YOUR NAME IS HIGHLIGHTED THIS IS YOUR LAST ISSUE. PLEASE RE-ENLIST NOW.
