The Virtual Armchair General 10208 Haverhill Place, Oklahoma City, OK 73120-3922, has sent for review Sikh War I and II flags by Chris Ferree in 15, 20 and 25/28mm. I must say right up front I have no clue about the Sikh Wars so I looked up a little bit of info, you know how dangerous that can be and found that everyone of the units involved in both the first and second Sikh Wars is represented by this collection. What more can I say, oh yes, they are correct in both size and design and color is good. I love these flags! And they are well worth the price. Now if we could just get Chris and TVAG to finish off the flags for the whole British Army we could really have something, our units could have flags. So what if they stopped carrying them sometime in the 1880s, they look good. The flag sets include both the regimental flag and the Union Jack with regimental number centered. Did I say I love these. Units represented include for the Brits, Wars I and II 9, 10, 24, 29, 31, 32, 50, 53, 60, 61, 62, 80, and 98th. For the Bengal Presidency 1st War Bengal Native Infantry and European Light Infantry 2, 4, 5, 12, 14, 16, 24, 26, 30, 33, 36, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 47, 48, 54, 59, 63, 68, 73rd, and the Nussaree, Shekawati and Simoor Gurkhas. For the Bengal Presidency 2nd War 2 Bengal Fusiliers, 8, 15, 20, 22, 25, 30, 31, 36, 45, 46, 49, 51, 52, 56, 69, 70, and 72nd. For the Bombay Presidency - 1 Bombay Fusiliers, 3, 4, 9, and 19th. 42 Sikh Army flags to cover both wars. I have a confession to make here, I like these flags so much that I am going to take the 25/28mm Union Jacks with the centered regimental numbers and use them for my British units that are not represented above for all my battles and campaigns regardless of time period. Sacre blue you say, bull stuff I say, I dont care! they look so good and I want my units to have flags. The 15mm or may be 20mm flags I will use with my cavalry units. Highly Recommended!!!
