DON’T FORGET, PLEASE, IF THE NUMBER ON YOUR MAILING LABEL IS 135 IT IS TIME TO REENLIST FOR THE HELIOGRAPH FOR ANOTHER YEAR. After reading the Dispatches and thinking it over I feel that changing to four issues a year would in fact lose the ability to really keep current. I am behind industry news now, as it is instantaneously flashed around to those who have web access. Not everyone has access, nor wants it, and the amount of material does become overwhelming with newsgroups. Therefore, I have finally decided to increase to $18 a year for 6 issues. I have corresponded with Larry “TSATF” Brom and the Heliograph will serve as the “"the official in-print source" of changes and clarifications for TSATF and TSNS. I am attaching the Official TSATF Rules Changes as of 2003 for all your readers since we want previous purchasers of TSATF to be able to receive these without charge/postage/gouging.” TSATF and its various permutations are my favorite rules set, these rules work from one to one skirmishing to colonial government levels--with a little mixing of the Boxers TSATF with TSNS you get worldwide domination. While I have some article for upcoming issues I still need more. I will again return, and finish, the scenery construction article (in 137) and a German East Africa article next issue. More history articles, scenarios and the like are needed; hopefully Don Featherstone will still be enjoying good health and will send in more colonial history articles. I have been painting Mexicans and Texans for the local history museum’s (claim to fame is that Travis and Bonham are both from the county) display of the Alamo 6 March 1836. Old Glory supplied the Alamo and about 500 figures (nice tax break for them), and I purchased 115 figs from Cannon Fodder, artillery from Old Glory and Animals from Irregular. The display will be approximately 6 by 6 feet and has to be done before 1 March, back to painting.
