Plus there are two poses for horses walking and running and two humped camels walking. Although listed as Sudanese the figures are actually Arabs and could be used as Tuareg or Bedouins to fight the FFL, I thought these were the best figures here.

As with the previous Ultimate Figures (Jack Scruby) these have little detail, although for their size (microscopic for those who wear trifocals) it is really not that bad. I was surprised.

I know quite a few game with 6 to 10mm figures, and I guess I might too if my space were limited and my budget non-existant. For me though I think these figures would make excellent representation for Kriegspiel or for map exercises.

I can easily see using these for major campaigns or for creating continents like Mafrica for troop location markers. Actually, I have been planning for some time to continue on with my ficticious continent and these figures will be very useful for placing units on the master map. I think that before painting I will glue a single figure to a push pin, paint it and place it on the master map to represent the location of either a company or battalion.

The figures are so small that the paint job rather than the sculpting tells the country of origin. So British regulars could also become German Seebattalion, or French Regulars all by changing the paint scheme.
