Ron Telucky I am pleased you were inspired to make one of your own. I had mine made for me with my own design. It was made with Geo Hex in mind. It measures 10 feet one quarter inches long, by five feet one quarter inches wide. The extra quarter inch gives you the room to place the Geo Hex tiles down. It is painted a ocean blue so layers of terrain and be placed on top. The lip around the table is for dice and cups etc. It gives you a place to put your gaming materials and not alter the view of the table. You can also make out the storage space around the table. That space is adjustable. Also on the end you can't see, it is open so that I have additional storage space for large items. I keep such things as my French and Indian Fort, and my Beau Geste Fort, both of which measure 2X2 feet and were made by the Duke. I will not tell you what the cost of the total room was. But it was something I wanted for the past twenty or so years. When I moved into this house (new) three years ago this was one of the first improvements I had made. Again, I am sorry for the name mix-up. I sometimes wish I had Geo Hex, but I’m working on my own terrain, more of which will appear next issue. In these exacting moments I would like to express my solidarity to you and to all American citizens. I love America and the American people. May God accord success to the struggle led by your Country against the barbarians. Faithfully your,
Terry D. Hooker I have left this brief note of condolance to you all for the events of this tragic day until my knee-jerk reaction subdued, and I could hopefully let you all know of my deep regret and sympathy on these terrible circumstances, and the great loss of life that has occurred. Hopefully none of you knew anybody that were harmed, although the shock of these attacks and their repercussions will effect not only the U.S. but the whole world, it would appear that there are nearly 500 British people are missing in the wreckage at New York, our biggest loss of life to a terrorist act. Please allow me to state that whatever evolves from these attacks you may count on my whole-hearted support on any response that might be deemed necessary or expedient, by your Government. It would appear that this feeling of mutual co-operation to defend Democracy is also felt necessary by a large percentage of British people too. I hope that this note will enable you know that it is not just foreign Governments that feel the need to give support and show solidarity but the normal person on the street too. Hopefully, I find you all in good health. My Kindest Regards to you all. Terry is the President of the South and Central American Military Historians Society.
