I recently ran across Waziristan, The Faqir of Ipi, and the Indian Army: The North West Frontier Revolt of 1936-1937 by Alan Warren (Oxford University Press, 2000) at the university library. While this is a scholarly book, it contains some really great stuff: descriptions of raid, expeditions, air craft, bibliography, and a couple of useful maps. It also contains in Appendix 2 a complete OB for Waziristan, Bannu and Khan Districts for 10 July 1937. For example: Alexander Ridge - one company 4/8th Punjab Or D.I. Khan - one sub-section 8th Light Tank Company Great information with very good skirmish descriptions as well as a detailed description of correct frontier troop movement. OUTSTANDING! While I don't need this book I sure WANT this book. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
