The figures I received from Gerry Webb are great. They include Egyptian Camel Corps and infantry command. I don't have any Egyptian Camel Corps nor necessarily any British although I do have camels. These camels of Gerry's are the same size as my other camels that I think are Ral Partha or Elite or Connoisseur I can't remember but I don't care now because these are every bit as good if not much better. And, I know where to get more. The overall feel, weight, detail, and look of the camels makes my mouth water for an Egyptian Campaign. CE13 and CE14 are very nice figures, more realistic in size, thickness, than either Essex or Foundry which makes these Egyptians fit in very nicely with my Brits. I really like the detail and lack of field packs. Now with some advancing Egyptian infantry, any in a production stage yet Gerry? This should give you a very nice variety of Egyptians to use. The rifles are very well sculpted and since they are separate make it easy to vary the figure positions a bit for more variety. If I am doing a small skirmish game then variety makes it easier to id the figures quickly. However, since I like my desert warfare on at least company scale and usually battalion level then variety doesn't matter to me much. I want the whole unit doing the same thing. Geez, I wish you guys would stop tempting me. I do need, yeah right, a few more units of Egyptians and these will fill the bill. Make sure when you order to specify which rifle you want. Shown on the next page are: CE13 Standard Bearer / Officer Advancing
There is also a sword presumably for the Camel Corps, or may be the officer. The figures are $.90 each while the camels are $1.80 and rifles 5 for $1.20 and that's in OZ dollars not American so we get more bang, sorry, for the buck. Besides, Gerry takes credit cards and he figures, or the bank does, the going rate of exchange. Let's give Gerry the business, er ah umm buy figures from him. Overall, I am very impressed with this series of figures from Castaway Arts, from down under, I would consider these figures HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
