This review was scheduled for last issue but when the computer crashed it disappeared. Greg sent these figures and several new scans of figures for review. For the scans they didn't reproduce as well as I would have liked, but you will get the general idea. The scans are on the bottom of the next page and include an Italian Askari, Italian Besaglieri with Cacciatori feathers, and Santa Anna from the Alamo Range. Wait a minute Greg, Cacciatori feathers are chicken feathers, already the Italian officers are off to a bad start on the table. Although all of our gamecocks' feathers are pretty. These figures, if they are anything like those below are well molded and designed, clean, sharp features that will make these easy to paint. I like these, I would say check them out on the web site but they are not there yet.

As for the Besaglieri officer (I 02) and Italian infantryman (I 01) they are really very nicely done. The equipment is spot on, especially if you read the exchange between Greg and I several issues back. The figures are clean, sharp featured very nicely detailed and should be easy to paint. These figures should look very nice on any table.

"The Troubles" Anglo-Irish War figures are really starting to interest me as my ancestors are from County Cork. Although there aren't any Donovans on the list of figures, that won't stop me from wanting to collect all these figures and have a go at the Brits in the future. Below are: T2 Sean Bolger, T6 "Big Pat" O'Brien, T10 Brian Kelliher, T11 Michael Shanahan, T18 with a double barreled shot gun, and T17 a British Army Regular: in helmet and '08 webbing. There is sufficient variety in the IRA force for all sorts of skirmish actions. The Forces of the Crown are somewhat thin, but easily filled out with figures from any 28mm WWI British forces and with vehicles from The Lead Boiler Suit Company you could have a real good time disrupting the British. These figures are all very well sculpted, highly detailed, easily painted and well animated, what more could you want. My favorite is "Big Pat" O'Brien his cool attitude holding his jacket while shooting at the Brits is superb.

As always Greg Blake has provided the hobby with some very fine figures that I Highly Recommend!!!!
