New Line of 28mm Naval Guns

From Reviresco

by Jeff Johnson

Colonial gamers ready to build a river gunboat for Darkest Africa will be pleased to learn that John McEwan of Reviresco Products has released a new line of naval artillery. These small guns and detail parts for naval vessels will fill the void left when Lyzard's Grin folded upon the retirement of long-time colonial game supporter Richard Houston.

The new product line from Reviresco is off to a good start with some classic items:

Set 700 Gardner Gun on field carriage and (2) Crew $ 5.00
Set 701 6 Pound Quickfiring Gun and (3) Crew $ 5.00
Set 702 Steel doors for ships, one pair, hinged either side $ 5.00
Set 703 Large Ventilator (approx 28 mm tall) set of 4 $ 4.00
Set 704 Medium Size Ventilators (approx 20mm tall) set of 6 $ 4.00

Information and illustrations are available on the Internet at: http://www.tin-soldier.com/colonial.htm

More ship fittings and naval weapons are promised in this new line. Reviresco is already known for the extensive line of 1-72 scale armored cars, light trucks and passenger cars for the WWI and 1920's period. A small line of British and German colonial troops is also offered in both 25mm and 28mm scale, as well as a series of kits to build a complete British-style engine and cars for colonial rail actions.
