C.S. Godshalk

When I first read a description of this book I was really ready to read it it sounded so great. It sounded too great as the case turns out the book really does not live up to the description whatsoever. It is supposed to be about an English Raj in Borneo in 1850s. Well it is, but from a woman's perspective, so there are only hints at what I would consider to be an adventure novel. Not to be insensitive to women writers, many of whom I really enjoy reading, but this stunk. There are few parts that were interesting, and fewer still that could be used for gaming purposes. Anyone interested in taking this book off my hands please send me postage and it's yours.
