The Foundry Foundry figures available in the US from The Foundry, 1549 Marview Dr., Westlake, OH 44145, 440-871-4587, fax 440-892-5887. The Foundry, Hubert's Lane, Off Doyle Road, St. Peter Port, Gurnsey, GY1 1RG, Channel Islands, Great Britain. (9)DA38 Witchdoctors DA58 African Tribal Warriors in Hideous Masks The above two numbers are the most outstanding figures I think I have ever seen, this is not to say that DA14, 15 and 221 are bad, they're great as are the other Darkest Africa figures from the Foundry. Anyway the Masai DA204 and 205 will go great with the other Masai tribal figures. DA204 Masai Warriors in Feathered Headdress 3 DA205 Masia Warriors (Various Headdress) 2DA222 British Askari Being guided by The Discovery of The Nile by Gianni Guadalupi these Askari are perfect for Bakers Asakri troops, there are several color illustrations in the book as a painting guide. The Askari are shown in most drawing wearing white uniform and equipment with red Fez, actually always a red Fez. The uniforms are also in Blue for his early adventures and later ones also with a red jacket DA14 European Ladies I. DA15 reminds me of Mary Kingsley who explored parts of West Africa without guns, what a lady! The fifth figure from the left DA15 could Mrs. Baker although I have not seen her dressed so, the first figure on the right would be my idea of Mrs. B. DA92 African Cattle, good something for the Masai to fight over. DA206 Masai with Lion's Mane Headdress, very nice figures. DA221 British Officers and Adventurers, we could use some more of these, may be some different Baker figures or Gessi, Emin Pasha etc. DA223 Askari with Tasselles Fez. DA225 Sikh Infantry DA223 and 225 pictured, and some DA221, in WI. I would like to see some of the really bad slaver leaders Tipoo Tib. Overall Rating: WOW!
