25mm foot figures $1.30 Australian each ($0.80 each US), Visa, MC accepted, postage at cost, which makes these competative

The latest samples from Gerry Webb's Castaway Arts colonial release include 14 figures from their Ashanti War collection.

These are 25mm from bottom of the foot to the eyes, 28mm to the top of their head. I found no flash, crisp clean figs, maybe a little stiff, but still very nicely detailed. My overall opinion being very favorable.

The collection includes:

British force

AB12 Native Scout - Feathered Headress, loading musket

Native force

AN1 - Leader Pointing, warshirt
AN2 - Running, warshirt
AN3 - Swordbearer, feathered headress. This figure is neat, headress is outstanding.
AN4 - Advancing, cocking musket
AN5 - Firing from the hip, bare headed
AN6 - Firing from the hip, head cloth
AN7 Drummer. The skull, bones and horns on this drum make this drummer a very different figure from other drummers. And should paint up very nice.
AN8 - Crouching in amush
AN9 - Advancing, bare head
AN10 - Loading
AN11 - Firing, head cloth
AN12 - Firing, animal skin poncho
AN13 - Holding severed head. Gotta be my favorite.

It should be pointed out that the guns these figs are holding are among the best detailed I have seen. The proportions are very good and not chunky like some. All of these figures should paint up great with the details nicely raised and easy to both dry brush and wash. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
