First Few Months

Greetings Folks, Thank you all for signing up for our Newsletter and/or clicking on the Updates Link from our HQ Web Page. There is lots of news to report, so sit back, take your time and enjoy catching up with us. OUR FIRST FEW MONTHS WENT BY LIKE A BULLET TRAIN! It has been a very busy and fun seven months since we first launched this company back around Easter 2004. Since that time, we’ve seen our "small but fierce" mail order company grow, change, and successfully launch our very popular debut product, The Classic GI Footlocker (100 Toy Soldiers) to great reviews from our customers and professionals alike. Thank you for making this such an outstanding first year for us so far! HAPPY FOOTLOCKER COMMANDERS Our Classic GI Footlocker Set has been greatly enjoyed by many happy “Footlocker Commanders” of all ages, all over the U.S. and also in several other countries including Canada, Australia and the UK. The GI Footlocker has become part of the product lines of several outside retail vendors, a staple item on ebay that sells faithfully every week, and of course, (with no competition yet), it has been our best seller on the main New Helen of Toy HQ web site! We are routinely contacted by parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents and others who tell us how much their young Footlocker Commanders have enjoyed their Footlocker Sets. Some have even emailed us family photos of their young Commanders engaged in Footlocker combat action, leading their brave troops across the great imaginary battlefields of carpets, kitchen floors, backyards and table tops. We’ve also enjoyed hearing from many “Former Kids” in the collector and nostalgia arenas who felt the same joy in finally finding our Footlocker Sets again after recalling the originals so fondly from the classic comic book ads they’d grown up with from the 1950’s-1980’s. The New Helen of Toy Company is very proud and gratified to see our debut product well enjoyed by so many folks and we thank you all very much for your support thus far. THE FUTURE If we’ve learned anything clearly so far, it would be that looking very far into the future is always a rather murky affair in the retail world. However, we can promise you that we’ll do our very best, as always, to keep bringing you quality toy products that will offer you and yours many wonderful years of good old fashioned Toy Soldier fun. Thank you again for being the best part of our journey so far, and we hope to see you with us again as we move ahead.
