I am usually reluctant to make any rules changes deferring to players' interpretations and implementations. I was so unhappy with my original ideas on Celtic Chariots that I posed the this question. POLL QUESTION: Celtic Chariots fight mounted at a basic melee factor of +10. This is too strong and not reflective of their method of fighting. Consequently their fight factor fighting in melee while mounted against foot (but not other mounted) should be reduced to 3. The Tribal charging modifier will be retained. The choices and results were as follows: leave unchanged 5.56% . Change to new factor 94.44%. The following Classical-Hack poll is now closed. This change can be found on our web site under errata. Seldom do I make any changes but rules should be changed when required by necessity for finding accurate historical interpretations on the playing board. This is news! Why the change? Because Celtic chariots fighting while mounted were too powerful and this is not reflective of their true battlefield abilities.
