Taking some spare time, Lynne and I put this place on our must see list. It was like returning to Ancient Rome. When attending conventions take some time out of the con schedule and be sure you take in some of the local sights. Often there are historical sights even in the smallest convention towns. One of the most interesting sights to see in San Francisco has to be the Palace of Fine Arts which is near the Golden Gate Bridge Park. Some of you may remember this structure from the film Time After Time in which Malcolm McDowell, portraying HG Wells, chases Jack The Ripper through time and the streets of modern San Francisco to this very sight.
