As the grains of time slowly fall the Classical Hack News Letter is getting almost up to date. It has taken Lynne some 15 years to get me on Wilcox standard time. What's Wilcox standard time? Let me explain. Lynne's maiden name is Wilcox. Women unlike men are usually less prone to putting things off and seem to always arrive early to places they have to be at. Well Wilcox women anyway are of this type. For the last decade and a half Lynne has many hours putting me on Wilcox standard time. A plan is made and time tables setup when possible. Frankly it does make life easier and is a great way to reduce stress. Unfortunately, just as Lynne thought she had pulled me out of Viverito standard time (a day late and a dollar short) I have of late managed to pull both of us back into my family's standard time. Resolved to return to the less stressful time zone slowly we are getting back into that zone. Big deal what does this mean? First it means that the Classical Hack News Letter should be on time in relation to the months they are supposed to arrive. As we get time and space into order other things will also be set in order; like up dates to the Classical Hack Web Site. As my time runs down at the day job I can really start planning more scenarios and more scenario books. There will even be the addition of history books on the LMW Works publication list. Together we will be setting up speaking engagements to utilize all those dioramas and little lead figures. These are the things we hope to do, plan to do together. As for the Classical Hack News Letter we will continue to talk up the various conventions and new products that are of interest to the gaming community and us. Hopefully by producing an entire series of scenario dioramas we will inspire others to put on Classical Hack games at conventions big and small. This issue is obviously devoted to our recent visit to The Shield Conference held in San Francisco, California. Steve Verdoliva graciously loaned us his model of Tyre and with this act we were able to entertain some 16 to 20 gamers over the weekend. Many other came just to see Tyre and I spent a lot of the time explaining what they were seeing. I can think of no better compliment to be paid than to have people travel miles out of their way to see a gaming event like Tyre. This Conference was indeed a San Francisco Treat!
