Brunhuber Adrift in a Sea Of Rules

This past July saw Norbert Brunhuber put on a number of events at Historicon. It seems he has mastered a number of different game Systems. Here Norbert is putting on a naval skirmish game using Blood & Sash rules. The game was called Comin’ Aboard, Like It or Not!. Other games he ran included Battle of the Black Ships using Thunder & Plunder, and Ipsus: Alexander’s Successors Decide the Fate of The World, using Classical Hack.

Norbert and the New Jersey Miniature Gaming Society are very active in the hobby.

Zaslavsky Ties in Two at Cold Wars

Courier Magazine announced in Issue No. 91 that Mark Zaslavsky tied for Third Place in The Gamers Choice Awards at Cold Wars 2004. Mark put on a Caesar’s Gallic War game using Classical Hack. Other Third Place winners included GMs Bill Moreno, Scott Landis, Paul Robinson, Jeff Kimmel and Michael Panzer who ran How the West Was Won. Mark had become an adept and very competent GM (Game Master) being noted for his large ancient battles using Classical Hack. Over the several years Mark has put Ancients into the spot light at conventions like Cold Wars, Historicon and Fall In! Details of the Cold Wars event can be viewed at the Classical Hack Site.

Other Games Played Galatians Again! James Mattes

James Mattes ran A Classical Hack Walk Through the Countryside: Galatia 208 B.C. Here James to the right seems pensive. At the bottom of the picture is a Roman camp. In the center are advancing Roman Legions cruising for a bruising in 15mm. All seemed to have a good time kicking Roman butt through out the country side of Galatia. See more of James’ games on the Classical Hack Web Site.
