We have two new games for this autumn, eight more intended for release around Christmas, several in preparation for early next year, and others being geared up for release later in 1980.

The two new items are both booklets for Traveller: High Guard, rules for space navies ($5.98) and The Spinward Marches, pre-generated subsectors and worlds ($3.98).

Other games in the work for release before Christmas are:

Red Star/White Eagle - The Russo-Polish War. This is an operational scale game of the 1920 clash between the Poles and Bolsheviks; it includes the dread Konarmiya, cavalry charges, armored trains, and a host of optional rules exploring the myriad possibilities of the aftermath of WWI. It was designed by Dave Williams (the designer of Anzio).

Pearl Harbor - 2nd Edition. We're re-issuing this John Prados design in a new and thoroughly cleaned- up version. While the heart of the system remains the same (strategic level land/sea/air interaction emphasizing economics), all of the mechanics have either been clarified or re-designed. Owners of the original edition will be able to update their games. Watch this space.

Bloodtree Rebellion - Guerrilla Warfare on the Planet Somber. This is a science fiction game of the 4041st Mykin Clone Regiment in its occupation of Somber. It is a military/political game with detailed background.

White Death : The Battle of Velikiye Luki. WD is a collaboration between Shelby Stanton and Frank Chadwick; it is an operational game on the Russian front during the winter of 1942/1943.

System 7 Napoleonics. Two new sets are arriving ' one featuring the Prussians (at lastl) and the other the valiant Poles.

Citizens of the Imperium. This is the tentative title for Traveller Supplement 3, giving character generation for 12 new types and many examples of each.

Prague. Our next Series 120 game returns us once more to the 7 Years' War. In 1757, Frederick the Great must fight the Austrians and their allies to determine who will control Prague. The game is based upon the award-winning Lobositz system.

Still in gestation, due in 1980 are:

Fortress Holland. A game covering the 1940 German blitzkrieg across the Netherlands. The game is to have one map and around 350 counters.

Desert Victory. Playtesting and rules editing continue as we ready this game. We think this one is destined to be the definitive operational game on all of North Africa.

Assault. Modern Tactical Combat. Blindtest results are largely in and publication should occur in the first half of 1980.

DNO Revision. Work continues, and continues, and . . . This could be ready in 1980.
