For you Traveller fans, GDW released Supplement 1 to Traveller at GenCon XI in August. The booklet contains 1001 Characters, pregenerated for use in Traveller adventures.
More or less as a lark, the last nine characters listed are drawn straight from the science fiction literature. Each includes physical characteristics, skills, and a brief listing of the person's special abilities.
Here's the contest- tell us the names of the nine characters (author and book title would be nice, but is not necessary) The first correct entry will win a GDW game of his choice.
Entries must be postmarked before 1 March, 1979, and the winner (and the correct names) will be published in the Grenadier No. 6.
