America's Military Book Show has been taken over by Cowles. In recent years the Military Book Show has been managed by Presidio's Richard Kane, the event having been founded by Lionel Leventhal in 1984. The Military Book Show has always been held in the city in which the ABA (now BookExpo America) has been held, on the day before America's major trade event commences. Running the Book Show for Cowles is Meridee Powers, who already has plans to enhance the event, promote it and increase the number of visitors. The date for the Military Book Show next year is Thursday 29th April (with BookExpo America opening on Friday 30th April).
