Peter Masters, the author of the Presidio book Striking Back: A Jewish Commando's War Against the Nazis was recently in Britain. He took the opportunity to talk at three meetings, two in London and one in Edinburgh. The largest of these meetings had nearly four hundred people, enthralled by Masters' talk about his life initially as a refugee, and then his induction into the Commandos, landing at D-Day and fighting across northwest Europe.
