Batsford has acquired Brassey's, the UK's oldest military publisher, plus Conway Maritime Press and Putnam. According to the trade press, Brassey's was sold for £ 2.2 million but no cash changes hands for the owners of Brassey's gain a stake in the new, larger Batsford. The deal includes Brassey's U.S. subsidiary.
