MHQ: The Quarterly Journal of Military History recently changed ownership. We suspect the plan was for a simple, single change, but rather like the pictureof a small fish being eaten by a larger fish, being eaten by another, and so on, the single change sddenly became three within a three-month period. Cowles Media bought MHQ, and then, Prime Event of California bought Cowles. However, Prime announced it was only seeking part of Cowles and the balance would be sold on. The movement and realignment of empires will take a few weeks time, and then we hope the publishing of good military history will only be encouraged.
