Arms & Armour Press is part of Cassell, a publicly quoted publisher. It has been announced in The Bookseller, the book trade weekly magazine, that two of its senior directors have been made redundant. The Bookseller reports: 'This follows a profits warning issued in December and a review of overheads. Stephen Butcher, managing director of the academic and religious division, and Rod Dymott, director at Arms and Armour Press and Blandford, have been made redundant. Philip Sturrock, chairman, will take over the running of the academic division. The military lists will report to Alison Goff, director at Cassell General and Ward Lock. Frank Roney, financial director, declined to rule out more redundancies following the overhead review.'
