Following the commercial problems mentioned in the last issue of Greenhill Book News, Salamander has now been acquired by Ramboro Books. Ramboro are best known as publishers and distributors of remainder and promotional books. They have, it is reported in the trade press, 'agreed to honour the credit voluntary arrangement and provide sufficient capital for Salamander to move forward ... Salamander made fourteen staff redundant to help stem its financial burden and now employs eleven people'. We hope that the future of Salamander, which made such an important contribution to military publishing over the years, is now secure.
