After many years of producing fine military books, Salamander have now gone into receivership. For many years Salamander had a regular publishing programme which included books which were always the best, large format quality military books, wonderfully illustrated. The deficit is said, in the trade press, to be about £ 4,000,000 and the Receivers are looking for a way to refinance the business and attract new capital so that it may in some way continue. We of course hope that they may be successful, because the Salamander contribution to the military publishing was distinctive and worthwhile.
