At the recent Frankfurt Book Fair, Ray Bonds had a stand to exhibit the proposed and very attractive programme for his new book packaging company, on a wide variety of subjects. Great Battles of World War II has the subtitle Major Operations that Changed the Course of the War and is a superbly illustrated reference book focussing on 26 major confrontations that shaped the course of that massive conflict. As well as depicting the key battles, David Miller analyses the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing forces and the reasons for defeat or victory.
