1997 Frankfurt Book Fair

Every year Greenhill exhibits at the world's largest and most important intemational book fair, held at Frankfurt in Germany. We meet with colleagues in the book trade from all over the world - in this selection of photographs are friends from Australia to the United States, the Czech Reoublic to South Africa Russia to Canada

Manfred Griehl, Germany's leading photo-archivist for the Luftwaffe, holding one of his contributions to the Luftwaffc At War series.
The Naval Institute Press, Annapolis, are long-standing associates of Greenhill. Here their Director, Ron Chambers, is with colleagues Paul Wilderson (holding the forthcoming monumental British and Empire Warships of the Second World War by H. T. Lenton) and Susan Todd Brook (holding Allied Submarine Attacks of World War II).

Kristin Olson. Greenhill's literary agent for Czech rights, holds collies of two of the hooks that she has licensed to Czech publishers.

Bill Hanna of Stoddart. Canada. holding Battles of the Bible which he co- published with Greenhill.

Martin Benz of Motorbuch Verlag holding two of the books in the Greenhill Military Manuals series which Motorbuch Verlag have published in German.

David Farnsworth of Combined Publishing. USA, holds a copy of the new Combined book Custer and his Wolverines.

Author Peter Hofschroer holds the presentation folder with Greenhill's 1998 publishing programme open at his forthcoming hook 1815: The Waterloo Campaign: Wellington, his German Allies and the Battles of Ligny and Quatre Bras.

Advance copies of Soviet Casualties and Combat Losses by Colonel General Krivosheev, which had been translated from the Russian, were taken specially to Frankfurt for display and, here, presented to Yuri V. Kurenkov of Mezhdunarodnaya Kniga by Lionel Leventhal.

Greenhill licensed The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Handguns by A. B. Zhuk through the Russian Authors Organisation, Moscow, and here their Tatiana Silina holds a copy.
