The last of you who over subscribed to Gauntlet should have the appropriate refund with this issue. To the U.S. subscriber who mentioned the shoddy treatment received from The Solo Wargamers Association: (missing issues, etc.): what I've done is refer your letter to the SWA Chairman (currently David Barnes) who might be able to get things sorted out. Nobody should have to put up with getting mucked about in their free time. It appears that Mark and I are getting slagged off (again), this time to the editor of another journal. I was asking friends what the response to this should be and the best reply I heard was as follows... "If Mark and you want to get up the arsehole's nose; then keep improving the standard of The Gauntlet"... (excuse any language). Re: the books offered as prizes in Targe Quiz: I may have given the impression that they're only fit for the scaffle bin. Not so. They're all in brand new condition: but have to go (one way or another) as I'm cutting back on the hobby as mentioned in the last issue.
