1 Model aircraft = One flight of 3-4 actual planes.

AIRCRAFT TYPES are Fighter or Bomber
Further defined as : Bi-plane / Fast / Slow / Tough / Undergunned / Heavy Guns

Battle of Britain Aircraft Examples :

    Spitfire & ME109 = Fast Fighter
    Hurricane = Tough Fighter
    ME110 = Tough, Heavy Gunned Fighter
    Bolton Paul Defiant = Slow, Undergunned Fighter
    Ju87 Stuka = = Slow Undergunned Bomber
    Do217, HE111, Ju88 = Tough Bomber
    He59 = Undergunned Biplane

Ranges :

    Fighter w. Cannons 4"

Method :
1D6 vs 1D6
Attack vs Defence factors
Heavy Guns, Stern Attack, Diving Attack +1
Target Tough - 1
Undergunned - 1
Bombers - Formation Broken - 2

Roll More than Target = DAMAGE
Roll Double Target = KILL

Hurricanes may exchange a KILL result to break a formation of bombers. Bombers may not reform formation.

Ed Note: These are just some thoughts down on paper and might form the base for a jolly good and quick set of airplane rules.
