http://www.garrison-clubs.org/gauntlet -This is the site of Gauntlet Publications in the U.S. http://www.abebooks.com - My wife found a number of copies of Little Wars on this web site. I'd been looking for a while on the other sites and on some auctions to see if I could pick up an original copy, but all to no effect. On ABEBOOKS, it took one search, and a number of used and rare book stores popped up. Very quick and very easy to search for books that are out of print and hard to find. http://www.winzip.com/ddchome.htm - the home page for Niko Mak computer software. They make winzip, the best tool on the market for minimizing file size and maximizing your hard drive space. Files that are for reference or that you just want to keep, zip them and save the space. Download a free trial version of WinZip that does the job. It also makes transferring files via e-mail more manageable because it makes the files as small as they could possibly be. http://members.xoom.com/fontaday/gallery/gallery.htm - fonts to add life… http://www.interknowledge.com/russia/rushis05.htm - Official Page of the Russian National Tourist Office. Contains a lot of tidbits on Russian military history. The link here is for Napoleon's campaign into Russia in 1812. http://www.ddg.com/LIS/InfoDesignF96/Emin/napoleon/text.html - site written by a college student giving the highlights of Napoleon's march to Russia. http://www.warflag.com/default.htm - I've run this one before, but it rates a return look. Need flags for your miniature regiments? Check here. You could probably print them off yourself and even if you can't, you could get a good idea of what you are looking for. http://www.crazyegors.com/MainHoardFS.html - I hadn't heard of this place before I found it on the net. It does have a certain appeal and is a very well done site. Although it has a definite sci-fi/fantasy slant, it has a fair amount of historical stuff, too. Worth a look for the Recycled and Scratch & Dent sections. http://www.thewarroom.com/ - another site like Crazy Egor's, except it has a lot more historical products, although the primary focus is still sci-fi/fantasy. http://www.imphobbies.com/ - Imperial Hobbies, a great store out of Canada. Definitely worth a look for the model section alone. If you are looking for anything that was made in plastic, chances are Imperial has it. http://www.grognard.com/ - it has been a while since I perused the whole Web Grognards site. Very well done with lots of great things to read. Best is their links to other sites. However, they do list "Gauntlet" magazine for reviews, but this is the South Australia game club magazine and not the internationally renowned version – The Gauntlet (that you know and like). http://www.grognard.com/bfm/index.html - provided by Web Grognards, dedicated to wargaming, this site is where you can print and play a complete historical board game – Battle for Moscow (1941). It is designed as an introduction to wargaming and neat if you would like to print it for the future generation of gamers… http://www.miniaturewargaming.com/ - the site of Miniature Wargaming Dot Com. Great site name, however it was under construction when I perused it. If they flesh it out as they say into a premier online store, it does have potential. http://www.miniatureworldmaker.com.au/start.html - out of Australia, these terrain builders list their prices in US Dollars and all things over $18 are postpaid. Not too bad and their stuff looks superb. Definitely worth a look if you are in the market for a little more terrain. http://www.toy-soldier.com/ - out of the UK, an online magazine to wile away a few minutes and see what other's soldiers look like. http://www.wargames.co.uk/Miniwargs/Miniwargs.htm - The Miniature Wargames magazine home page. Find out when the next issue is out or what is in what issue (good searchable index). Good reference site. Enjoy and e-mail me if you find the good sites hiding out there on the web.
