On the net

by Craig Martelle

http://members.aol.com/KllrKatnas/index.html - Here is the official Killer Katanas home page maintained by the KK author himself, Brian Bradford. For Samurai gamers, he includes some notes and tips for KK, as well as an extensive listing of links for additional research, scenario ideas, pictures, etc.

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/werner_elb/samurai.htm - This is one of the pages linked to from Brian's KK page. It is a site in Germany where Werner Elb has modified Volley & Bayonet rules for Samurai warfare. He also provides other tips and insight into warfare during that era.

http://www.brookhursthobbies.com/resicast.htm - this is a page off the Brookhurst Hobbies site. They now carry Resicast, 1/35 scale models and figures. This is worth a look just for the pictures of some completed models.

http://fdnet.com.au/seamus/wwk/ - what about books on military history? Our hobby cannot exist without these and here's a site in Australia that you may find irresistable. Mal. Wright has been doing some surfing lately and found this along with the next couple.

http://www.neva.ru/EXPO96/book/book-cont.html - This is a history of the Russian Navy site. The history starts with Peter the Great's fascination for sea power and moves through the beginning of the 20th century.

http://www.crs4.it/~cmsc/index_eng.html - need some good pictures and info on Italian soldiers from WWI? Here's your page. This page is worth a look to see how classy a page on the net can be. Great work!http://www.battlegames.co.uk/battlefr.htm - Here's an interesting page from the UK. It is developing, but already has a supreme start. It explains itself as an online magazine for historical miniature gamers. It has a lot to offer all.

http://www.miniatureworldmaker.com.au/start.html - here's a good site if you're looking around to fill some voids in your collection.

Thanks to those who provided me with these new sites. Good luck and e-mail me if you find the good sites hiding out there on the web. Note my new e-mail.
