Tadashi Ehara, former editor of Different Worlds magazine, is joining the editorial staff of Sleuth Times. Sleuth Times publishes articles, reviews catalog items and other features that explore the world of Sherlock Holmes.

Medieval romance and adventure will soon explode on the silver screen when Warner Bros. and Twentieth Century Fox release the motion picture Ladyhawke. Matthew Broderick of Wargames will head Ladyhawke's cast followed by Michelle Pfeiffer of Scarface and Rutger Hauer of Blade Runner and Nighthawks. The film is directed by Richard Donner, whose credits include Superman and The Omen. Donner also produces the film with Lauren Shuler.

Coinciding with Ladyhawke's premiere, Signet paperback is publishing a novelization of the movie by Joan D. Vinge.

Role-players can now explore the lost continents of Atlantis, Hyperboria and Lumeria using Bard Games' The Atlantean Trilogy: The Arcanium, The Lexicon and The Bestiary. The Trilogy may be used as a total game system or as a series of supplements for experienced players and game judges.

Gamers, who play Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, may enjoy reading the bi- monthly magazine Dark Elf Edited by Rich Hellyner and assistant Jason Bock, the magazine concentrates on AD&D module and support articles. For more information, write to: Dark.Elf, PO.Box 135, Wellington, OH 44090.

Have your friends memorized all the questions to Trivial Pursuit? Well, try this one on them. Take questions from one category and answers from another, and you can come up with some hilariously wrong responses for a lot of laughs.

Hero Games will now place a "Hero System" game logo on all their roleplaying products that work together. As one of the first systems to do this completely, these games require no modifications for one character to play in another game.

On Good Morning America, Tom Clancy author of In Search of Red October, commented that he used Adventure Game's Harpoon game as a source for his novel.

Calling all wargamers. Come meet The Grenadier Magazine Master Gamers' Challenge and battle for the $100 cash prize. The competition will be held at Origins, the National Wargaming Convention on June 27-30, 1985 in Baltimore, MD. Each contestant will play three war games: The Avalon Hill Game Co.'s Battles of 100 Days, Columbia Games' Rommel in the Desert, and Game Designers' Workshop's Boots & Saddles. In addition to the cash prize, the winner receives a two year subscription to The Grenadier magazine, a numbered set of Gamescience Collectors Dice and a distinctive tee shirt. The competition is open by pre-entry to all wargamers attending Origins. Kevin Dockery of Firebird Limited in Ann Arbor, MI, is busy researching more modern exotic weapons for publication of another manual with the same format as The Armory. Firebird Ltd. also has released a supplement to Hero Games' Champions titled The Golden Age of Champions.

The new weapons manual would include exotic weapons and nuclear weapons. Firebird is hoping for an Origins release.

Reality Simulations of Tempe, AZ has acquired the exclusive rights to the Conan play-by-mail game. The Hyborean War, Imperial Conquest in the Age of Conan is scheduled for its debut in May.

Quarterdeck Games will continue publishing war games for the next two years since Dave Ross recently joined the company.
