An Englishman won the 1985 World Monopoly Championship in Atlantic City, NJ last September. Jason Bunn, age 25, defeated four other Monopoly champions from around the world in a 1 1/4 hour "high stakes" round. An assistant test engineer for a medical supply company from West Yorkshire, England, Bunn won the title of World Monopoly Champion and a commemorative Monopoly edition filled with $15,140 in real money. Late NewsDiverse Talents Inc. recently acquired The Fantasy Gamer and The Space Gamer magazines from Steve Jackson Games Inc. Although The Space Gamer # 76 is Steve Jackson Games Inc.'s last issue, Warren Spector will remain editor of the magazine for Diverse Talents Inc. GHQ has the license to manufacture MicroArmour for The Avalon Hill Game Company's Deluxe Advanced Squad Leader. GHQ plans to offer special packs containing vehicles listed in the orders of battle for Deluxe Advanced Squad Leader. The Grenadier magazine recently announced that Bill Nichols is its Computer Wargaming Editor effective with Issue 25. Nichols has designed computer war games for Strategic Simulations, Inc. and Simulations Canada. Sorcerers Apprentice magazine has discontinued publication. Issue #17 was the last issue published.
