RuneQuest III is produced by Chaosium Inc. and is distributed and marketed by The Avalon Hill Game Company. Mimnon is not the kind of person an intelligent adventurer calls his friend. He is a lean, tall man with a cruel stare and a short temper. Mimnon hails from the Holy Country, and makes quite plain his dislike for the uncivilized surroundings he finds himself in. His comments about the city and its inhabitants have caused fights on several occasions, and Mimnon seems to relish these chances to prove the superiority of his rapier and dagger style over "these sandbrained primitives swinging sharpened crowbars." Debate continues behind Minmon's back over why he is so far from home. The general concensus is that he is from Nochet City, but beyond that there is no agreement. Some think he is a disinherited nobleman, others figure he has a price on his head, and some think he flees a Jorstland blood feud. Mimnon is not talking. The only thing certain about Mimnon is that he has been superbly trained. Only a foolish man would cross blades with him in close quarters. Mimnon's slim blades and quick footwork have the advantage over larger weapons wielded by bigger men accustomed to the protection of heavy armor. He also has an advantage around town because the watch seldom bother someone wearing a rapier, but often hassle those with larger weapons. Mimnon is aware that the city is his environment, and tries to avoid expeditions into the Rubble or out into Prax, preferring to make his way as an escort or bodyguard through the Marollo Service. He is capable of ingratiating himself when he feels it is to his advantage, and has a few contacts with the minor aristocracy of Pavis. They find that being escorted by a guard of refined and intelligent sensibilities to be a refreshing change from the boorish and smelly barbarians who are the major stock in trade at the Marollo Escort Service. Mimnon is a regular at Jareen's, where he goes to relax. Occasionally he is seen at Gimpy's where he likes to make fun of the clientele and tell outrageous lies to young green adventurers. When he is looking for a fight, he heads to Loud Lillina's, and when he needs work he frequents the Silk & Plume or Erigio's. Minmon is one of the rootless types who often find themselves in need of magic training in Pavis. Since they are not associated with any particular group or power that is favored, they are forced to endure a low priority status when petitioning priests or shamen for spells. "Hardheart" is an appellation that Mimnon did not choose, and will not answer to, other than with a backhanded fist. Very few people call him this to his face, but most refer to him as Hardheart behind his back. STR 15, CON 12, SIZ 14, INT 14, POW 15, DEX 14, APP 12.
