by Andy Daniel, Enginuity Games
Enginuity Games is working on a new card game based
around the classic game of Rock Paper Scissors. We're offering
you a chance to be part of it. We're looking for fun trivia
to be included on the cards. There are not questions and answers,
but rather fun facts about the game of Rock Paper
Scissors, especially about variants played around the world,
local customs related to the game, famous events used in
film, and whatever else you can think of. We will also consider
a limited number of interesting facts about Rocks, Paper,
or Scissors themselves.
Your submission:
Here's a made-up example: "Neil Armstrong beat Buzz Aldrin in a game of RPS to decided who would set foot on the moon first." Great trivia, but we couldn't use it, because it isn’t true, so: 3. It must be true 4. It must be factual and verifiable 5. You must provide supporting documentation in one of these ways:
b. a scan of a book or document emailed as an attachment c. a document faxed to Enginuity - if you would like to fax please email for our fax number For each suggestion that we use, you will receive a free copy of the game when it is published in 2005. There is no limit to the number of suggestions you can submit or to the number of copies that you can receive (will will use about 110 suggestions and give away about 110 copies). Just remember that many suggestions will be submitted by more than one person, so we'll give the free copy to the FIRST person with each suggestion. Hint: you can break up a complex piece of trivia into two or more pieces, as long as each one stands on its own, and they aren't repetitive. Email your suggestions to Enginuity at this special email address: rps@enginuity.com Include an email address that is not likely to change in the next year, and, optionally, a mailing address for your game. Otherwise, we'll contact you for a mailing address if we use your idea. Thanks and happy trivia hunting! Back to Table of Contents -- Game! # 12 To Game!
