Game! is indebted to Pat Condray for this Directory. He writes: These clubs and shops have been collected from a variety of sources. In the first case we are indebted to the “Clubs of the World” list appearing in MWAN. As for the shops, it must be admitted that more money is spent on other aspects of “The Greater World of Adventure Gaming” than historical miniatures. This is reflected in the emphasis of game shops Most shops will offer items of value to the historical gamer, including modeling supplies and recruiting opportunities. Those shops which are reported to have a moderate historical emphasis are indicated by after the entry. CANADABurnaby Old Guard: 6308 Brantford Ave., Burnaby, B.C. or 10367 126th St. Surrey, B.C. Some groups are organized nationally or even internationally based on interest in a particular period of military history. Three or-ganizations in the United States (with members elsewhere) are the Seven Years War Association (SYWA), The National Association of Ancient and Medieval Wargamers (NASAMW), and the United States Pike and Shot Federation (USPSF). More than the local or regional groups, these tend to have a strong historical and scholarly bent, with the news-letters becoming even more important. National Association of Ancient and Medieval Wargamers: Eric Tayler, 13105 Silent Wood Ct. Richmond, VA 23233. E-mail: ext2@vcu.org. Mitchell, 147 N. Jackson St., Crown Point, Indiana 46307. (219) 663- 3914. E-mail: jackson@mail.icongrp.com . Web site: http:// www.sywajournal.com.
