GenCon 2004 Report

In a word... "WOW"

by Joe Minton

Our LAN was under constant use as gamers played in pickup games and in tournaments. We ran sessions of all of our live games and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. We go to the shows for exposure, and we sure had a lot of it!

Another huge benefit is being able to show publishers our games when we are all face-to-face. We kept hearing over and over variations on the same theme: "Finally someone has created a high quality gaming site for this industry that is legal, has a real business model behind it, supports the publishers and which has a mature gaming community that is fun to game with."

All I can say is that we are honored with the trust in creating and hosting online versions of your games, and that we will continue to tirelessly work to grow the company in order to make it a powerful part of your own strategy.

Kill Dr. Lucky is Live

Kill Dr. Lucky, the award-winning game from Cheapass Games, is now live for play on GameTable Online! Get ready to try to kill that old codger in virtual space. Killing Dr. Lucky sounds easy but guess what? It's not. Dr. Lucky has an uncanny knack for slipping out of harm's way, but don't despair. After enough tries, you're guaranteed to wear the old geezer down. You just need a clever plan, a good bluff and a little more luck than everyone else. Kill Dr. Lucky is the second Cheapass Game to come to life on GameTable Online. Lord of the Fries, the classic card game of zombie cooks was the first.
