James Blackwell supplied a list of the distribution of the 234/2 Puma to the late Bill Murphy's excellent Panzer Colours site. Blackwell got the list from an A J Dugdale article in an old MAFVA magazine, 16 went to 1SS Pz on 1 July 44 3 went to 1SS Pz Div 1 November 44 25 went to 2nd (Vienna) Pz Div in April/May/June 44 10 went to 2nd Pz Div in November/December 44 26 went to Pz Lehr in May/June 44 13 went to 20th Pz Div in November/December 44 This makes 93 out of the 101 produced - leaving 8 adrift. There is still a question mark over whether HJ got some or all of these still stands -- they definitely had late production 231/232 "achtrads" but may have got 234s later.
