All the Bersaglieri stands have a +2 bonus in Close Combat -- this represents their short range firepower -- which saw them use plenty of grenades and some SMG's. Several Bersaglieri Battalions were included in the special "Assault" Rgts. Each Assault Regt was organized with 2 x Assault Groups, each one formed by 1 "Crimson Flames" Bersaglieri Bn and 2 x "Black Flames" Arditi Bns. Each Bn (both Bersaglieri and Arditi) had: 1 BHQ - 4 figures . 3 Infantry companies each with 10 figures.
