There aren't that many shops in Paris, although by the look of it there's more than in London nowadays. Prices tend to be a little expensive so when I say reasonable or expensive that's by
French standards... Here are the most useful ones :
Champ de Mars, 11, rue de Sovign‚ 75004 PARIS Metro : Saint-Paul
Stocks : SHQ, Foundry,FAA, Old Glory, Front Rank, Qualiticast, Zap Productions (French WW1 stuff), Scenic Effects... Located in Central Paris, easy to find, prices are reasonable
with the odd bargain from time to time, also stocks books (mainly English), large stocks, open until 7 pm (if the owner feels like it).
Librairie du Stratege / Exo Kit 22, rue de l'Evangile 75018 PARIS Metro : Marx Dormoy
Stocks : Milicast, Britannia Miniatures, Fine Scale factory, Trux, SHQ, Skytrex/Hinchliffe, Exo Kit, Hasegawa models... Located in North East Paris, not very easy to find (small combination mainstream bookshop and figure shop), prices are reasonable, staff relatively friendly, adequate stocks, open until 6 pm.
Kit N Doc, 144, rue Martre 92110 CLICHY Metro : Mairie de Clichy
Stocks : JB Models, MAC Models, AER/Toga, Flight Path, S8M Model, Hasegawa, Fujimi, Matchbox kits... books Model shop, located in northern outskirts of Paris but acces is fast, relatively easy to find, prices are reasonable, large stocks although it specializes in aircraft, open until 7 pm. One of the better model shops in Paris.
Eol Mod‚lisme 22 (?), boulevard Saint-Michel 75005 PARIS Metro : Maubert-Mutualit‚
Stocks : 1/72 vehicle models by Hasegawa, Revell, Cooperativa, Airfix, matchbox, some old Esci... Model shop, located in Central Paris, extremely easy to find (they have three shops in the same area, they'll direct you to the one with the plastic models), prices are expensive, staff definitely not friendly but large stocks, open until 7:30 or 8 pm. Nasty but convenient.
Armes & Collections 19, avenue de la Republique 75011 Paris Metro: Republique
Stocks : JB Models, MAC Models, AER/Toga, Flight Path, S8M Model, Hasegawa, Fujimi kits...
Military bookshop, located in North East Paris, easy to find, prices are reasonable, nice selection of books and magazines (they publish Militaria and Steel Masters among other things) in just about any language, open until 7 pm. Best military bookshops in Paris.
For information only: Jeux Descartes Wagram 6, rue Meissonier 75017 Paris Metro : Wagram
Stocks : not much of interest besides Hovels (they only have 15 and 25mm Essex and Dixon)
One of the oldest wargame shops in Paris, now mainly RPGs, extremely expensive, don't waste your time there...
