Replacement and Production Charts

(FWtBT)

Surely no other Europa game has as confusing a replacement situation as For Whom the Bell Tolls. To cite only one example, since isolated cities produce replacement points that can only be used at that city, there is theoretically an enormous number of potential replacement pools!

It's easy to make a mistake. The worksheets on the following two pages help keep track.

Photocopy a number of the worksheets and use one per turn.

As always, GR/D grants permission to copy any part of the, magazine for personal use.

The worksheets are somewhat self explanatory.

Each Replacement Point Table lists all production cities, allowing each player to count and record which are friendly owned and if each is isolated. The section of the table by the "Isolated?" check boxes provide a convenient way of keeping replacement pools separate. While this takes care of isolated cities and the infantry replacement points they produce, a small area is also available for notation of armor and artillery points from isolated factories. Simply write in the name of the factory city or cities.

The General Replacement Pool Table provides an area to accumulate replacement points in the overall pool.

The factory production provides a quick summary of production.

Each "Notes" sections provides reminders about specific cities in the factory production table.

Small spaces are provided for special replacement situations - the CRV and KL replacements for the Insurgents and the special French replacements for the Loyalists.

Hopefully these worksheets will prove useful in keeping your replacement efforts organized in your next game.
