This article is for those of you, who, like me, sometimes like to glorify the German Army to excess in our wargame campaigns.

If we will pause and consider for a moment what the numbers in the accompanying table really mean, perhaps we won't boast so much next time we run over the French or crush those Bolshevik hordes under our tank treads. I like to play the German in most of the games I play, and I also like to boast of my great Victories, but numbers like these bring me back to reality and remind that I am glad that this time it is just a game, and it was fun until the next one.

The Nazis killed off two thirds of European Jewry in the some of the most atrocious acts that have ever been. There were also some 2 million Catholics killed by the Nazis plus 1.5 million others.
