At-TEN-tion!

by Ben Knight

For those of you who read my editorial column and remember what I write, I would like to remind you that "the best- laid schemes o' Mice an' Men gang aft a- gley." In my greenness I have sometimes called to your attention upcoming articles, but for one reason or another these fail to appear. Starting now, I shall refrain from this practice. TEN will always be about Europa and WWII in Europe--you can count on that--but to maintain the remains of my editorial credibility I will stop crystal-balling the next issue.

As rules questions answerer, I receive clues that tempers sometimes flare during a rules debate. Admittedly, my voice occasionally escalates when arguing a rules point. What we need to remember is that this is our hobby, we play Europa for fun. Though we compete in the game, we are also comrades in Europa. My wife often reminds me that "It's just a game," a simple yet wise remark.
