1. The 162nd Inf Div was disbanded 23 Dec 41 at Staritsa, Russia, and its assets went to the 86th, 129th, and 251st Inf Divs. On 15 May 42, the "Kommandant der Legionslager in Rahmend. 162. Infanterie Division' was established at Stettin, Germany and transferred to Mirgorod, Russia on 28 May 42. The division, composed primarily of Turkestanische elements serving in a security role moved through Romny, Gadyach Khorol, and Lubny before being with drawn to Neuhammer, Germany, on 11 Feb 43. There it was redesignate the 162. Inf Div (Turk) on 30 May 4 and transferred to Yugoslavia.

2. Europa displays the Estonia forces as separate Eastern Troop counters for gaming purposes cause of rule considerations. This measure freed Division 300 to absorb several separate German security regiments--conveniently matching the headquarters' actual security purpose while reducing the number of counters.

3. The 707th was raised 2 May 4 and designated officially as the 7 Infanterie Division (bodenstandige with regiments 727 and, 747, which were pulled from reserve divisions Munich and Augsburg. The "bodenstandige" descriptor led to the initial "static" designation in Fire in the East. Its reconformity to security operations once in Russia, however caused it to be retrofitted in Scorched Earth as a reinforced (4-5 security division, thus reflecting true role in the Russian campaign.
