Secure the Building

Humor



One reason that the four US services do no operate well together is that they use different terminology. For example, when told to "secure a building":

The Navy would turn out the lights and lock the door.
The Army would post guards and not allow anyone to enter.
The Marines would storm the building, capture it, and set up a perimeter to defend it with suppressive fire and close combat.
The Air Force would take out a three year lease, with a buy option.
