REPRINTED FROM "THE SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR",
BY R. A. ALGER, U.S. SECRETARY OF WAR 1897-99.
FIRST PUBLISHED 1901 BY HARPER & BROS. NEW YORK.

You may have noticed this title among the books which I listed as having just bought or been sent, at the beginning of this issue, this section from it is, I believe, of help to the military historian and wargamer, plus it is data that I did not have available to include in the society booklet No.4 on the Spanish-American War at the time of printing, so I am going to include it here, I hope that you also find the details of interest. -- T.D.H.
