O.K. please accept my apologies for this issue being so late in hitting the post, but a number of things have occurred since the last issue, I had started this typing in October thinking that it should be ready to send out in January, just after getting Christmas and it's three weeks of total non-productivity as far as typing, research etc. goes. You can imagine this idea was kicked into touch in early November and I didn't get back to typing the text until mid-February. 'Why?' I can hear a number of you question. Truth is that during late October to mid December I was researching material ie., uniforms, insignia and rank insignia to be used for the film "Evita", having received a phone call at home from the production team, hopefully that is out of the way now, although they still have to film parts in Bucharest that could not, for one reason or another, be filmed in Buenos Aires. Straight after this in early January another phone call this time from Bryan Ansall of Wargames Foundry who will he producing a series of books for wargamers covering various wars and periods that are to enhance the figures which his firm produces but also to open up new fields, or should that be battlefields, for figures to be produced. He has asked me to write one on Latin American Wars 1840-1890, 200 pages in length with illustrations and b/w photographs, I said that I would and took a down payment for it from him, which is now converted with the money from "Evita" into a brand new computer with scanner among other things, that should as soon as I get used to how it works, help me with El Dorado.
